yesterday was the continuation of a very special weekend for Keerthi & Sangeetha, with the reception being held in the beautiful bay around Circular Quay & Darling Harbour.
The day started with me meeting up with Dario & Ron at world square. We were there to setup the room that the couple would stay in. Drinks were brought, decorations were put up and costumes were changed, before we locked up and made our way down to the Opera House.
We met up with the newly married couple who were taking photos. Dario & Ron continued their groomsmen duties while I ducked out for beers with friends. The boat docked and we all boarded. We went upstairs where drinks and canapes were waiting. The backdrop could not have been any better, with the sun setting behind the city skyline. Keerthi & Sangeetha started mingling before we went for dinner.
The food was nice, with a three course indian/fusion menu. We had dinner, listened to the great speeches and saw the awesome first dance & group dance with the groomsmen & bridesmaids. After the cake was cut, we all went back upstairs to have some fun with the photo booth and start dancing.
The rest of the night was involving dancing and drinking away. One of the guys pulled out a saxophone from nowhere and started performing for the married couple live. His sax rendition of Kygo – Firestone was epic! After a while the ship docked and we off boarded. All the guests made an archway out of sparklers and the newly married couple left.
We met up with everyone back at the hotel as we drank up and celebrated with Keerthi & Sang. Once again congratulations to both Keerthi & Sangeetha. I wish you all the best.
